Blue Wildebeest, aka Brindled Gnue, White-bearded Wildebeest (Connochaetes Taurinus) Ngorongoro Crater in the background.

Wildebeest can detect rain up to 30 miles away - they follow the rain, and the resulting new grasses, across the Serengeti, into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ndutu) and back north to the Masai Mara in Kenya - The Great Migration. Wildebeest travel over 1000 miles a year in search of the best grass.
