A young cub sits close to mother on the banks a a river loaded with salmon. Grizzlies and Coastal Brown Bears are genetically identical - the difference being geography and diet. Coastal Brown bears grow much larger than grizzlies due to the high protein content of their diet and the relatively easier life style along the more temperate coast lines of Alaska.
